Accurately feeds back oil pressure values to the Cummins engine controller
Cummins oil pressure sensors are typically installed on the main oil gallery of diesel engines. Their working principle is that while the engine is running, the pressure measurement device detects oil pressure, converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal, and sends it to the signal processing circuit. After voltage amplification and current amplification, the amplified pressure signal is connected to the oil pressure gauge via the signal wire, changing the indicated oil pressure. The current ratio in the two coils of the pressure indicator shows the engine's oil pressure. After voltage and current amplification, the pressure signal is compared with the set alarm voltage in the alarm circuit. When the alarm voltage is lower than the set value, the alarm circuit outputs an alarm signal and illuminates the warning light through the alarm line.
