Diesel generator sets using the PT fuel system operate more stably and reliably, with convenient performance calibration and good adaptability. Typically, their output fuel pressure does not exceed 2100 kPa, which is only 1/8 to 1/10 of the output pressure of a conventional high-pressure fuel line system's fuel pump. The injection pressure range is as high as 70-140 MPa, ensuring good atomization and promoting more complete combustion. Low-pressure fuel delivery not only eliminates the potential fault source of high-pressure fuel lines but also removes the issue of secondary injection, ensuring stable operation and enhancing engine reliability.

● Fuel delivery quantity depends on the fuel pressure supplied by the PT pump to the injector and the absolute duration the injector's metering orifice remains open.
● The PT pump is a low-pressure pump, with an output pressure typically ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 MPa, while the injector's fuel injection pressure ranges from 68 to 136 MPa.
● In the PT fuel system, the fuel tank is positioned higher than the PT pump and PT injectors.
