The H1 series axial piston pumps feature a rocker arm-type swashplate design and are primarily used in closed systems. The pump's output flow rate is proportional to its input speed and displacement. Pump displacement can be steplessly adjusted from zero to maximum displacement. The direction of oil flow at the pump outlet changes as the swashplate swings past the neutral position (zero displacement).

The H1 series variable displacement pumps can be paired with any existing SAUER motor to form a hydraulic drive system for fluid transmission and control. The H1 is a compact, high-power-density hydraulic component. It employs an integrated electro-hydraulic servo module to control flow rate (vehicle speed) and output direction. The H1 pump is particularly compatible with PLUS+1 controllers, offering plug-and-play functionality.
