The 4296675 speed controller features a fully electronic closed-loop control design. It responds to instantaneous load changes with rapid and precise adjustments to control engine speed. When connected to compatible EFC series electronic actuators and magnetic speed sensor signals, it perfectly controls Cummins diesel generator sets. Its design emphasizes simple installation and pre-adjustment capabilities, including speed droop and working idle speed. It incorporates features to assist multi-unit or special-purpose machine inputs, as well as protection against reverse battery voltage, instantaneous voltage spikes, actuator short-circuit faults, and includes safety safeguards for loss of speed sensor signal or power.
